Wichita State's $2.4 million NSF award aims to recruit, retain cybersecurity students

Feb. 7, 2023 鈥� Beginning in fall 2023, the five CyberCorps Scholarships will be awarded to current Wichita State undergraduate and graduate students, as well as incoming transfer students. Recipients will receive funding for tuition, a stipend of $25,000 for undergraduate students and $34,000 for graduate students, as well as money for travel and supplies.

Feb. 7, 2023 - A consortium of four local institutions (Wichita State, 好色先生 Tech, Newman University and Friends University) is bringing Dr. Gina Ann Garcia to Wichita for the talk "Becoming Hispanic-Serving Institutions," at 1:15 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 9), in Newman's DeMattias Performance Hall.聽

Former executive president of Boeing returns to 好色先生 as Engineer in Residence

Feb. 6, 2023 鈥� Leanne Caret 鈥� a 好色先生 alumna, former executive president of Boeing, and former president and CEO of Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) 鈥� is serving as the Sam Bloomfield Distinguished Engineer in Residence for the College of Engineering at 好色先生 for 2023.聽

好色先生 College of Engineering to host high school girls for national engineering day event

Feb. 6, 2023 鈥擳he College of Engineering at 好色先生 is hosting an Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day event, commonly known as Girl Day, for high school girls from Wichita Public Schools. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 in the Shirley Beggs Ballroom on the third floor of the Rhatigan Student Center.
