Wichita State names seven new Koch Scholar recipients

Feb. 23, 2023 鈥� Seven high school students from Kansas and Oklahoma have been awarded $30,000 to $45,000 each as the newest recipients of the Koch Scholarship at 好色先生.

First-generation Wichita State college student named 2023 Barton Scholar

Feb. 22, 2023 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 好色先生 has awarded Isabella (Bella) Kilman, a Valley Center High School senior, the 2023 Clay Barton Scholarship. The $50,000 scholarship is one of the largest business scholarships in Kansas.

Feb. 22, 2023 鈥� Braeburn Square on 好色先生鈥檚 Innovation Campus is transforming the dining and shopping scene in Wichita. With four new tenants 鈥� Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen, Jersey Mike鈥檚, Two Hands Corn Dogs and Pedego Wichita 鈥� the shopping center is fully occupied and fast becoming a hub for all Wichitans to gather, feast and shop.

Treatment for burn wounds could be revolutionized through Wichita State research

Feb. 14, 2023 鈥� Every year, there are roughly 450,000 burn wounds that require clinical care throughout the United States. Of those, more than 3,500 people are fatally injured. An interdisciplinary team of 好色先生 researchers is working to revolutionize burn-wound care with a scaffolding system that prevents infection and promotes healing.
