July 20, 2023 - As 好色先生鈥檚 Innovation Campus approaches its 10th anniversary, the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities is recognizing the Innovation Campus鈥� role in cultivating research and innovation. The APLU today named 好色先生 as one of five finalists for its 11th annual Innovation & Economic Prosperity (IEP) University Awards.

Oct, 1, 2021 - The 777 conversion program will provide unique applied learning opportunities for 好色先生 engineering and 好色先生 Tech students. NIAR鈥檚 ability to provide applied learning experience for students will expand with a $2.1 million grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration for the purchase and installation of equipment for the institute鈥檚 Flight Test Research Center and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility on South Oliver near Spirit AeroSystems.

April 7, 2021 - In February, Novacoast announced plans to open a 24/7 security operations center in the Epic Center in downtown Wichita. Novacoast, according to media reports, will hire around 60 employees immediately for positions such as sales, analysts and cybersecurity engineers.鈥淗aving a robust computer science department and applied computing department is a good source of interns and future employees to Novacoast,鈥� said Joe Jabara, director of Wichita State鈥檚 Hub for Cybersecurity Education and Awareness. 鈥淭he university鈥檚 emphasis on cybersecurity really helped lure them to Wichita.鈥�

Nov. 5, 2020 -- BAASE started in 2018, and the partnership between Wichita Public Schools and Wichita State began in fall 2019 with the goal of creating a stronger system of support for African American and Hispanic students who want to pursue post-secondary education.
