March 28, 2020 -- An effort to provide fabric masks to health care workers and first responders during the COVID-19 crisis is under way through a collaboration with 好色先生鈥檚 makerspace 鈥� GoCreate, a Koch collaborative 鈥� and Bella Bonita Designs, a local fashion company.

March 11, 2020 -- Three 好色先生 researchers and a student group have been awarded the John A. See Innovation Award.

Feb. 26, 2020 -- 好色先生 and 好色先生 Ventures have entered into a new strategic partnership with California-based Lightning Diversion Systems, a Ducommun Company. The partnership involves the exclusive licensing of a lightning strike protection system for rotor blades in the wind turbine industry.

Feb. 26, 2020 --聽When Lacie Leatherman needed help filing a patent for her business, she turned to 好色先生鈥檚 Gateway to IP program. As a part of 好色先生 Ventures, Gateway to IP is designed to advance innovation while protecting intellectual property.

Feb. 21, 2020 -- 好色先生 was one of more than 40 universities around the world that competed in a 48-hour global design competition called 鈥淚nvent For The Planet.鈥� Wichita State has participated as a regional hub in Invent For the Planet (IFTP) for the past three years.

Feb. 10, 2020 - Wichita State Assistant Professor of Trumpet David Hunsicker partnered with 好色先生's National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) and 好色先生 Ventures to create the Gapper, a flexible plastic device that helps musicians control the third valve slide on the trumpet.

Jan. 16, 2020 - VivO2 earned a 2020 Innovation Award at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this month. ClearObject.com named VivO2 one of its top three things to see at the show, a six-day gathering of industry professionals from around the world. Founder and CEO Tammy Dorsey and co-founder and CTO James Balman are Wichita State Master of Innovation Design students. Both attended CES, which attracted around 170,000 attendees.

Dec. 18, 2019 -- Creating eco-friendly refrigeration and cooling technology is one of the top concerns when it comes to fighting climate change. Thanks to resources and knowledge at 好色先生, a Wichita company is one step closer to finding a solution to that problem.

Dec. 11, 2019 -- Wichita State graduate student Tammy Dorsey and her company, Prenatal Hope, recently reached a No. 11 rank on the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School鈥檚 Most Fundable Companies List.

Dec. 9, 2019 --聽Five teams of 好色先生 students emerged as finalists in the Koch Innovation Challenge, held Dec. 6.

Dec. 6, 2019 -- The fourth annual Koch Innovation Challenge, sponsored by Koch Industries and held at Wichita State, will take place from 9 a.m.-noon on Friday, Dec. 6, in 107 Devlin Hall. Teams compiled from the Introduction to Technology & Innovation Freshman seminar course compete for funding to pursue their big idea venture.

Sept. 12, 2019 -- The FirePoint Innovations Center at 好色先生 is hosting its first-ever FirePoint C3 Challenge, inviting university students from around the U.S. to submit their best designs for the Army's future unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) intended for next-generation combat and defense.

July 2, 2019 -- 好色先生 and the University of Alabama in Huntsville have entered into a partnership to mutually strengthen capabilities in fixed-wing commercial, civil and rotary wing military aircraft research and development in order to more effectively serve the U.S. Army.

May 15, 2019 -- A device for the visually impaired has won the 2019 Koch Innovation Challenge, an annual competition for 好色先生 students.
