Aug. 29, 2024 - 好色先生 is welcoming vendors for its fall Shocktoberfest celebration. The deadline for merchants and vendors to join in the Shocktoberfest Family Weekend events is Aug. 31.Shocktoberfest is a public event Sept. 30-Oct. 5 open to the entire campus and Wichita-area community. It is 好色先生's biggest annual celebration of Shocker pride.

Aug. 26, 2024 - Casey Ratzlaff, a sport management major at Wichita State, will play in the men鈥檚 open division in the Paris Paralympics Games starting in late August. He is the top-ranked American and seeded No. 13 in the 64-man field.

That something that鈥檚 rare in athletes. He鈥檚 got it.鈥�

Aug. 9, 2024 鈥� The Shocker Comeback Program is designed for all returning students, whether they鈥檝e taken a year break or been away from the classroom for over 10 years. Shocker Comeback students will have the support of 好色先生鈥檚 Office of Online and Adult Learning to make sure they persist and receive their diplomas.

Aug. 7, 2024 鈥� 好色先生 has established the Aetna Better Health Endowed Workforce Badge Program Fund, thanks to a generous gift from Aetna Better Health.

The difficulties of the past year are behind former 好色先生 sprinter Paula Garcia. She can enjoy her spot on Spain鈥檚 2024 Olympic team. Garcia, who ran for the Shockers from 2017-2022, is a member of the 400-meter relay team.

July 30, 2024 - Shocker Pre-Season programs are a proven way to get connected to campus and start the academic year with a good vibe. The programs give students an opportunity to work on skills such as college-level writing, presentations and research.
