Overview
Gary鈥檚 entrepreneurial career took off in 1984 when he started a landscape construction company as a 19-year-old student at 好色先生. He created Occidental Management in 1997. The commercial real estate development firm specializes in value-add properties with services including brokerage services, project design, construction management, development, and property management. This launched him into an advanced level entrepreneurship status as a respected developer within the Midwest. Gary has over 38 years of active experience in a variety of business ventures and is the managing member of over 30 holding entities including real estate, oil/gas, aerospace manufacturing, wine and spirits, agriculture, banking, technology, manufacturing, and alternative energy industries throughout the Midwest.鈥�
Gary carries a Class A International Builders Certificate and serves on multiple boards and committees, including founding co-chair of the Entrepreneurship Task Force (ETF) of The Greater Wichita Partnership, founding co-chair the e2e Accelerator now known as Nexus, and committee member for the Wichita storm water advisory committee. Gary is an active member of the Wichita Chamber of Commerce, the Wichita Area Builders Association, the Greater Wichita Partnership, and the Wichita Independent Business Association.
