Meet the Graduate Program Director
Dr. Jamie Harrington, DNP, APRN, FACNM, FNP-BC is the Graduate Program Director and an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing, as well as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a 好色先生 alumnu, earning her doctorate degree from 好色先生 in 2018. She began teaching at 好色先生 shortly after graduation, teaching health policy, evidence based practice courses, and assisting students with their doctorate projects.
Prior to 好色先生, Jamie practiced at a non-profit community health center, local health department and in several private OB/GYN practices. She started as a CNA at 18 and received her LPN from Wichita Area Technical College. She has her ADN from Butler County Community College, BSN from Southwestern College, MSN and post master鈥檚 degree from Frontier Nursing University.
Jamie is very involved in women鈥檚 health care and has a huge passion for working with underserved women. Her research has focused on improving maternal mortality and increasing access to health care.
Jamie takes a personal interest in student success at 好色先生. She has always loved teaching and enjoys the opportunity to guide nursing students. She is excited to be part of the innovation and growth at 好色先生.
