Only seven months after announcing its collaboration agreement with Wichita State, Spirit AeroSystems has started plans to further expand in 好色先生's Partnership 2 (P2) building near 17th Street and Oliver.
As part of the agreement, Spirit had planned to occupy space on the second floor of the P2 building and has announced its intention to expand into another 4,000 square feet.
Spirit's presence on campus is a collaboration with 好色先生, focusing on the acceleration of research 鈥� which incorporates applied learning experience for students 鈥� and improvement of workforce training services.
In addition to Spirit, P2's second floor now has six 500- to 1,000-square-foot spaces for smaller entities looking to leverage all of the resources campus has to offer.
Prospective partners considered for these spaces will be those that show a commitment to applied learning and can benefit from 好色先生's continued reach along the I-35 corridor, as well as the university's location and desire to expand the area workforce.
The mission of 好色先生 is to be an essential educational, cultural and economic driver for Kansas and the greater public good. Wichita State is a doctoral research university enrolling nearly 15,000 students and offering 59 undergraduate degree programs in more than 150 areas of study in seven undergraduate colleges.
